Evaluation- Part 1

The Dark Knight:
This is an example of a mentally disturbed character, i have decided to use this as an example to portray the similarities between our antagonist, this character is from 'The Dark Knight', the joker had a very disturbing childhood which resulted to him growing up to kill innocent people. Similarly our anatgonist also had a very bad childhood, we have created a similar comparison between our character and the joker.

Angle: close up shot, looking directly at the character to create fear for the audience

Costume and Make Up: The Jokers make up and hairstyle ressembles his character, the costume that the joker wears is tatty, torn and the colour ressembles joke, wierd, mental? additionally the jokers costume and make up is compared with his personality to show his personality he must be dressed to match his characteristic. For our character we were suppose to dress him in a tatty torn trench coat, however due to the time we were unable to find one, therefore if we had time we would have dresses our charcter to match his personality.

Hitman:
This is the concept we used for our film, we used Hitman as an inspiration and idea to create our story line, the idea of the tie came from hitman, however at first we were going to use a red tie but there was unexpected changes made, which is why we had to use a black tie instead of a red one.

Angle: Medium Shot

Costume and Makeup:  The character is simple wearing a black suit with a red tie, this shows how the character is serious, this character reflects our character as we have tried to make our actor serious with a bit of mentally disturbed behaviour, we used this character as a second option for our ideas, and we tried to draw out the similarities with the costume for our character.

Sin City:
We used the editing skills from this movie to make our film similar through the different colour contrasts, we chose this film as an inspiration because this film is unique and it is different from other films. Sin city is the same as comic films because of the visual effects also we have used the similar style for our own film for the visual effects and cinematics.

Script writing

In our lesson we were introduced to celtx by our teacher, we were taught how to use celtx for script writing. Our group managed to finish the scripts and we learnt how to use this software, it was very easy and helpful to do professional script writing. I learnt what INT meant, which was referd to interior, which was shot inside and EXT which means exterior and was shot outside.

This is our script:
